The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has banned the popular file-sharing site WeTransfer.com. The DoT has cited national interest and public interest as the reasons for doing so. A report by Mumbai Mirror reveals that, DoT asked all the ISP across the nation to ban three URLs. Out of the three, first two regards to ban two specific URLs on the website. Third notice ordered to ban the entire website.
